CAHP and its member plans have been working hard to improve our existing health care system and how consumers interact with health plans. From urging lawmakers to consider a state level individual mandate, to expanding coverage, to providing increased subsidies for those who buy insurance on their own, California’s health plans are part of the debate. Health plans and stakeholders have also been busy in recent months developing a groundbreaking statewide provider directory utility, implementing Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) and Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) regulations, and much more.
Join over 1,000 health care professionals to learn how health plans in California are dealing with the changes, taking on new responsibilities for the state, implementing laws and regulations, and planning for the future.
